How do great libraries become even better?
With a little help from their Friends.
The Friends of the Randolph County Public Library inform, educate, entertain and enlighten our lives...books are just the beginning.
About
the Friends
Randolph County Public
Library now has three Friends associations: Archdale Library Friends (ALF),
the Friends of the Randolph Library and the Liberty Friends of the Library.
Total membership is in excess of 600, three of the largest and most active
groups in the state.
Programs
The
library, the Friends of the Randolph Public Library and the Archdale Library
Friends (ALF) sponsor a broad range of programs throughout the year for
all age groups. Upcoming events are advertised well in advance in
the libraries, in the library's newsletter, and by the local media.
Literary discussion groups; local, state, and nationally-known authors; puppeteers;
magicians; musicians; living history; and extremely large snakes are just some
of the programs held at the libraries. For more information on upcoming events
at the library please visit our events page.
Have too many books? That's not possible, but you can still donate your books
