Genealogy Reference Request
The Randolph Room contains a valuable & useful collection
of materials for historians, genealogists, and all who have an interest
in local history. We welcome visitors to come and use the materials
here, and we are also happy to help with email requests for reference assistance.
Some restrictions do apply:
Due to time constraints, we cannot send you "everything
we have" or "any information we know." Staff will answer
only queries which are specific to one subject or name, and which can be
answered in approximately twenty minutes or less.
Please limit one question per request and include appropriate
information to answer the question.
Staff will answer only questions concerning Randolph
County; for other counties, send the request to that county library or the
Genealogical
Services Branch of the Division of State Library in Raleigh.
A maximum of fifteen pages can be photocopied per request
at a charge of .50 per page. Copyright regulations are observed.
