Magazines & Newspapers

In addition to NC LIVE’s online resources, the library also provides back issues of newspapers and magazines. Newspapers include the Asheboro Courier-Tribune and its predecessors back into the late 1800s. The library’s magazine collection is useful in the study of current events as well as more leisurely pursuits such as woodworking, cooking and playing the guitar. The library also has National Geographic from 1914 to the present, and Life from issue one, number one, to the end of its publication.
