Get Ready for Summer Reading!
“Metamorphosis” is the theme for the Teen Summer Reading Program, and “Transform Yourself” is the slogan.
Anyone 13-18 who registers for the program beginning June 16 will receive a ticket for each book read. At each event throughout the summer, tickets will be drawn and prizes awarded.
Summer Reading Programs:
• July 10: Bugagami with Irene Smith 2-3 p.m, Learn how to make Origami bugs!
• July 21: Movie Monday featuring Spiderman 2, with bug-alicious foods and popcorn; 3:30 p.m. in the Asheboro Library downstairs Meeting Room!
• July 31: N.C. Zoo field trip finale, with picnic. Leave Library at 8:30 a.m. return from Zoo by 3 p.m. Registration is required, lunch provided. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library

the Teen Advisory Board
The Teen Advisory Board or TAB meets the second Thursday of every
month at 4:30 pm at the Asheboro Public Library.
Choose events and programs that will happen in your library!
Help make it the place you want it to be. Voice your opinion of your favorite books, magazines, websites, music and more! Advise the Library on what's hot and what's not.
